The VAT summary and the withholding tax register are read from the postings you already made, so they agree with the ledger. eTIMS e-invoicing switches on when your KRA registration is ready, and any submission that fails stays visible with the reason.

It is a full double-entry accounting system. Invoicing, purchases, expenses and payments are the front door, and each one posts to the ledger behind it, which is what produces the trial balance and the financial reports.
Can my accountant use it?+
Yes. Accountant and admin roles can open the general ledger, trial balance and every report. Your accountant can also export or download the records they need for filing.
Does it handle VAT?+
Yes. The VAT summary is built from the postings you already made, so it reconciles with the ledger rather than being keyed in separately. Withholding tax is tracked the same way.
