Terms of Service

Last updated September 2026

Agreement

These terms govern your use of Steadline, operated by Mutual Labs, founded by Peter Ndiku, in Nairobi, Kenya. By creating an account or using the service you accept them. If you use Steadline for a business, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for that business.

Accounts

You must give accurate details, keep your password secure, and are responsible for activity under your account. Access follows the roles you assign to your staff. You confirm you have the right to enter the data you put into the service.

Trial, pricing and payment

New accounts start with a 30 day free trial and no card is required to begin. After the trial, continued use requires a paid plan, billed monthly or yearly in Kenya shillings as shown on the pricing page. Yearly billing is discounted as displayed. Fees are exclusive of taxes unless stated. If a payment fails, the account becomes read-only until it is settled; your data is not deleted.

Acceptable use

Do not use Steadline to break the law, to store data you have no right to, to attempt to access another business's data, or to disrupt the service. We may suspend an account that does.

Your data

Your business records belong to you. We hold and process them as described in the Privacy Notice, including the statutory retention of financial records. You can export your reports at any time.

Availability and support

We work to keep the service available and back it up daily, but we do not promise uninterrupted service. Support is available on WhatsApp and email:+254 704 964 737 and peter1000mutua@gmail.com.

Intellectual property

The software, brand and design remain ours. We grant you a non-exclusive right to use the service for your business while your account is active.

Limitation of liability

Steadline is a record-keeping tool, not a substitute for professional accounting or tax advice, and you remain responsible for your filings. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the fees you paid in the three months before a claim.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or end an account for non-payment or a breach of these terms. On closure, the Privacy Notice explains what is erased and what is retained.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, and the courts of Kenya have jurisdiction.
